Art patrons, collectors and major donors Drs. Ricardo and Harriett Romo and venerable documentarian Chuy Trevino visited Margaret at her studio to interview her. Among the topics discussed was her Los Angeles Metro subway station art at Universal City. This particular segment of the interview focused on her station art that told the story of Mexican Southern California leading up to the end of the Capitulation of Cahuenga ending the Mexican American war in California and Southern California becoming a territory of the the United States. This historical art work is significant because the singing of the Capitulation of Cahuenga was signed on the site of this Metro Station. This site is considered by historian to be one of the most important sites in California. Margaret worked closely with noted historian Willam Mason on this project.
